 1. Aloo Paratha Recipe

This is an easy paratha recipe that can be taken for breakfast or lunch. This breakfast in India served with yoghurt, sabzi, pickles or chutney.


Ingredients :
  • 2 cups of Wheat Flour
  • 6 or 7 - Potatoes
  • 3 or 4 - Chopped Green Chilli
  • 1 tbsp - Red Chilli Powder
  • 1.05 tbsp - Salt
  • 0.05 tsp - Garam Masala Powder
  • 0.05 tsp - Coriander Leaves

Cooking Steps :

Step 1 - Boil the potatoes and mash in a bowl. Add chopped onions, green chillies, coriander leaves, salt and garam masala and mix well without lumps.

Step 2 - Mix wheat flour with water and a pinch of salt to make a soft dough.

Step 3 - Make small or medium balls of dough and roll them into 3 to 4 inch circles.

Step 4 - Add a spoonful of potatoes filling in the middle. Press the rolling pin on all sides while making the parathas. Be very careful to apply the pressure evenly. 

Step 5 - Close the dough and roll it with your fingers. Roll it into round parathas. Apply pressure very evenly and gently on all sides.

Step 6 - Heat the pan and cook the parathas one by one, with a spoonful of ghee on both sides.

Step 7 - First cook the paratha on low flame on both sides and when it becomes slightly crispy then add ghee on both sides.

Step 8 - Serve it with yogurt or pickle.

2. Samosa Recipe - Try this recipe with Cheese

This is delicious crispy recipe and also it's good for evening snack.


Ingredients :
  • 1 cup of Maida
  • 1 or 2 pc - Onion
  • 2 or 3 pc - Eggs
  • 0.25 cup of Cheese
  • 0.05 cup of Oil
  • 1 pc - Tomato
  • 0.25 tsp - Salt
  • 0.25 tsp - Ajwain
  • 1 tsp - Pizza Sauce
  • 1 tsp - Oregano

Cooking Steps :

Step 1 - In a bowl, add maida, ajwain, salt and 1 tbsp oil. Mix the ingredients well.

Step 2 - Add water in portions to make a stiff dough. Knead well. Close the dough and let it rest for 15 minutes.

Step 3 - Heat the pan over medium flame. Add 1 tsp oil. Once the oil is hot, add the chopped onions and fry until transparent. Add chopped tomatoes and fry for a minute. Turn off the flame and let the mixture cool.

Step 4 - The mixture should be taken into a bowl. Add eggs, red chilli flakes, oregano, salt and cheese. Mix everything well to combine.

Step 5 - Divide dough into 4 parts. Rub the dough ball with the flour and roll it a little thicker than the roti. Cut the roti into two halves from the center with a knife. Set aside. Repeat the process for all the dough balls.

Step 6 - Take a piece of rolled dough. Apply water on the cut edge. And form it into a cone by gluing the edges.

Step 7 - Leave the edges and add the curry into the cone. Pour water over the edges and close the edges properly.

Step 8 - Repeat the process and the samosa is ready for frying. Heat oil on medium flame for deep frying. Once the oil is hot then add the samosa.

Step 9 - Cook the samosa evenly and rotate in the middle until golden brown colour. Take it out in the kitchen towel.

Step 10 - Serve the samosa with your favourite tomato ketchup or chutney.

3. Chicken Biryani

Chicken Biryani is a savory chicken and rice dish that includes layers of chicken, rice, and aromatics that are steamed together. The bottom layer of rice absorbs all the chicken juices as it cooks, giving it a tender texture and rich flavor, while the top layer of rice turns out white and fluffy.


Ingredients : For marinating chicken
  • 0.25 kg - Chicken
  • 1 tsp - Oil
  • 1 tsp - Salt
  • 1 tsp - Coriander Powder
  • 2 tsp - Chilli Powder
  • 3 tsp - Ginger and Garlic Paste
  • 6 tsp - Curd
  • 0.5 tsp - Garam Masala Powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric Powder
  • Corinader leaves as per paste

Ingredients : For Chicken Biryani Preparation
  • 250g - Basmati Rice
  • 2 tsp - Oil
  • 1 tsp - Ginger - Garlic Paste
  • 0.5 tsp - Jeera
  • 0.25 tsp - Garam Masala
  • 3 pc - Cinnamon
  • 5 pc - Elachi
  • 4 pc - Green Chilli
  • 1 pc - Onion
  • Salt - Enough to taste
  • 1 or 2 - Biryani Leaf
  • 500ml of Water

Cooking Steps :

Step 1 - Wash the chicken and apply turmeric on it. 

Step 2 - Take a bowl and add the needed ingredients for marinating one by one. first add chilli powder, oil and little water and mix it. This lends a bright colour to the recipe. Next, add salt, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric, garam masala, coriander powder, coriander leaves and curd. Mix it properly.

Step 3 - Now add chicken and mix it well. Keep this marinated chicken aside for 20 minutes.

Step 4 - Then pour oil in the pan. Once it is heated, transfer the marinated chicken into a pan and cover with a lid. Put on a small flame.

Step 5 - Stir for every 4-5 minutes. Slowly when all the water goes off, open the lid, stir for 2 minutes and switch off the stove. Now the chicken is cooked.

Step 6 - Take a container. Pour the oil. Add elaichi, cinnamon, biryani leaves, jeera and fry.

Step 7 - Once it lets out a fragrance, add chopped onions, chillies and ginger-garlic paste. Stir fry. Add washed and dried basmati rice and fry for a minute. 

Step 8 - Put it on a high flame. Now add the water. Add salt. Stir it in and close with a container. Put it on high flame.

Step 9 - After 10-15 minutes and all the water has drained from the biryani, put the pan on the stove and place the biryani vessel on the pan. Put it on a low flame.

Step 10 - Transfer the cooked chicken inside the biryani and cover it with the rice. Close the lid. Switch it off after 7-10 minutes.

Step 11 - The recipe is ready now! Serve with raita (mix curd, chopped onion, green chilli, coriander leaves and salt).

4. Jalebi - The sweet recipe

Jalebi is everyone's favourite and it is a sweetest dessert that can be eaten for any occasion.


Ingredients :
  • 1 cup of Maida
  • 2 cup of Sugar
  • 0.25 cup of Ghee
  • 0.05 cup of Curd
  • 1 tsp of Baking Powder
  • 0.05 tsp of Orange Food Colour
  • 0.05 tsp of Cardamom Powder

Cooking Steps :

Step 1 - In a saucepan, heat 1 cup of water and when it boils, add sugar and cook until sugar is dissolved.

Step 2 - Simmer the gas and reduce the water until you get a string consistency syrup.

Step 3 - To check, touch the syrup with the tip of your index finger and mix in the toe. When pulling them apart you will see a thin wire forming between the fingertip and the toe.

Step 4 - The syrup is now ready. Turn off the gas and keep it aside.

Step 5 - In a large mixing bowl, add flour, curd and 1/2 cup of water and whisk to make a smooth dough.

Step 6 - Now add baking powder, cardamom powder and food color. Whisk again until everything is well combined and the dough is soft and flowing.

Step 7 - Pour the dough into the piping bag, cut the edge to make almost 4mm opening. Take a wide base pan and heat ghee in it. Once the ghee is hot, reduce the flame.

Step 8 - Hold the piping tightly and start making circular patterns in hot ghee. Make 4-5 jalebis in batches.

Step 9 - You will see bubbles appear. Fry until bubbles are reduced. Use a tong and rotate the jalebis and fry from both sides. This may take 2-3 minutes.

Step 10 - Using a tong, take out the jalebis one by one and soak in the sugar syrup for 30 seconds.

Step 11 - Take out the sweet and crispy jalebis from the sugar syrup and serve hot!

5. Gulab Jamun

Gulab Jamun is one of the popular Indian sweet desserts eaten after lunch or dinner.


Ingredients :
  • 2 cups of Sugar
  • 1 cup of Milk Powder
  • 5 tbsp - Maida
  • 1 tbsp - Ghee
  • 1 tbsp - Curd
  • 0.05 tbsp - Milk
  • 1 pinch of Baking Soda
  • 0.25 cup of Oil
  • 5 pc - Cardamom

Cooking Steps :

Step 1 - Add water, sugar and crushed cardamom. Boil until the syrup becomes viscous and set aside.

Step 2 - Mix the maida flour, milk powder and baking soda in a bowl. Add ghee to it.

Step 3 - In another bowl mix the yogurt and milk. Pour 1 tablespoon of curd and milk mixture to the flour mixture.

Step 4 - Starts to bring the maida together to make a smooth dough. If the dough is too dry, can add little milk.

Step 5 - Now, make balls out of the dough. Roll it like a soft ball.

Step 6 - Heat oil in a saucepan. Deep fry the balls in it until they turn brown and turn off the flame.

Step 7 - Once done, dip the balls in the prepared sugar syrup for at least 2 hours. and then ready to eat!
