For plant growth, almonds needs hot summer and cool winter. It grows in wide fertile, loamy and well-drained soils with a pH of 6.9 - 7.9. Some types of almond trees are fertile. Therefore, fruit production requires cross-pollination. Trees should be planted at a distance of 20 to 30 feet. If the seed is to germinate in the spring, it should be sown in the autumn. Almond orchards need moisture so they need irrigation. However, excessive irrigation can cause it to rot.
